I'd like to know which criteria a game has to meet so that it could be entered into the rpg database, in particular, if it is nescessary that the game be programmed in Q-Basic or what operating systems and the like? Also, can I do this (making the entry) myself? I guess not, but I might be wrong.

If you got a profile you can add games/projects, reviews and articles. To do this you need to go to your user page, to wich a link can be found in the top-right corner on RPGDX (not the forums).

Yeah, follow Modanungs instructions and you should be fine. Also, Ninkazu comes quite close to the rules, but officially here's all the requirements:
* The game and all it's contents must be yours.
* The game must be an RPG.
* The game must be an independently made game (i.e. no outside commercial funding).
* If your game costs $$ for people to play, you must have at least a free downloadable demo somewhere on your site.
* All games should have *all* required files included in their download for people to play. This includes emulators, DLL files, and anything else.
* It does not matter if your RPG is finished or not. In-progress games are perfectly ok.

Your game looks interesting, but at the moment I only use WinXP Home. When I have broadband I will be installing Linux again, and try it out.

Well, yes, maybe that's better anyway. The currently available release doesn't make use of hardware acceleration and is therefore very slow on anything but really fast hardware, i.e. an Athlon 1400Mhz gives something like 30 fps, which is really ridiculous. Now we've been working on the OpenGL support for some time. It's done right now, but some other bugs need fixing. With that, basse gets > 125 fps on Duron 700 Mhz and Geforce 4, so it really should be playable then on most current machines with OpenGL capable hardware. And we need to figure out how to compile the OpenGL stuff under Windows :) But I'll surely post a message once the next release is out.

Thanks for the offer. Honestly, I'm not so sure where the real problems are with this one, since it's my brother who does the build/install things. So far, we're using cross-compilation, i.e. we run gcc under Linux to generate the Windows executable. My brother mentioned, that the didn't yet know how to do this in conjunction with OpenGL, don't know why. But I'll let you know once he's done moving and can start tackling computer problems again :)
