ya, i guess it's not clear that the opening screen is a menu. If you push down you get menu options. WELCOME, NEW DIVE, PREVIOUS DIVE, etc. Pick New Dive for a new game. You never even have to watch that intro. _________________ Diver Down

Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh yeah oh yeah oh yeah.
I got it to work with the 2.6 verge exe and the dlls thrown into the diver directory. Oh yeah... Kickass game so far, but the graphics are kind of inconsistent. But the gameplay and cutscenes just flat out rock.
EDIT: Okay, I got to the part with the breakers, and when the guy engages me the battle freezes up. It just doesnt do anything, just shows Diver at the bottom of the screen and a grey box below him, with the battle music playing. Nada.

i can't help you with windows yet, sorry. thanks for the nice review though!
Well, I had art help, and everything those guys did was amazing. A lot of the other art was mine. Some of it turned out pretty good, but most of it isn't all that much to look at :). The inconsistency is all the programmer art mixed in. _________________ Diver Down

well it doesnt matter TOO too much, just looks a bit rough at first is all ;)
And your pickins' of music is great, except, I think, for the battle music- Just doesn't seem Intense enough.

hi grenideer i love your game! problem i'm not with the dos version and i can't turn right in the mine past the bridge. so my game would stop here ....... and that would really be a pity. as for the site diverdown.grenideer.com i systematically fall on a body fitness site.also, i can't seem to be able to get the dos version on my computer. i'm not too hopeful but if you could do something, that'd be great! thanks if you try

It was a few years ago.
We should kidnap Grenideer and force him to write here. _________________
