          | I'm currently working on letting players alter maps and build pathways (more construction options to come ...)
The only way type is currently "gravel", and I'm looking for a proper success message from the game.

Is "You pave the ground with gravel" proper English? If not, what would be a better way to say that?

          | "Pave" is generally associated with asphalt, so I'd go with something like "You cover the ground with gravel."

          | Thank you. I'll change that. What about "You build a piece/segment of gravel (covered?) path" ... is there an elegant way to say such in English? | |

          | Hmm...I cannot think of anything more eloquent than that. But how about 'Gravel Section Created' or 'Gravel Roadwork Complete' or something like that? _________________

          | I think Josiah Tobin's suggestion is good, because it is generic and the word "gravel" could be replaced with other materials to create a consistent and uniform message. For example: "You cover the ground with cobblestone." | |

          | Thank you for the clarification. I'll use Josiah Tobin's suggestion then. Thanks all for the help :) | |
