A nice little game with potential. Graphics are not that great, but the music makes up for that. I thought the walking animation was a little funny and the dialogs are appearing strange, but still the gameplay is good and it's nice to be able to skip the 'writing text to dialog' part. It's also nice that the characters can move freely instead of tile-based. |

Now, I really like this game. I'd have a difficult time explaining why, but I did.
Story/dialogue is, well, bad. It's not focused on too much, though, so that's good.
Graphics suffice. Repetitive, but they set the mood, and that's all they have to do. I really like the robots which look like rocks with upside-down paper cups for heads. I don't mean that to be sarcastic, either; I think they're quite original and that's always nice.
What I do really like about this game is the feel. It keeps up the tension despite the repetetive graphics and gameplay by always making you feel like your character is becoming less and less powerful. He is in an environment which exerts a constant wear-and-tear, and your goal is nearly hopeless. I, at least, never get very far before dying, but perhaps that's because I suck. The fact that there is no save feature (none I found, at least) adds to this effect. Essentially, you're a kid, all alone, in the sewers, with a knife, a rifle, and couple grenades, surrounded by rats, robots, and generally all sorts of ornery critters trying to kill you (for whatever reason; don't think it's every really explained).
In a word, this game really manages to evoke an atmosphere. It has a number of shortcomings, but it gets right the one thing that really matters. |

Ok, ignore the mistakes mentioned in the older reveiws, this new versiongets rid of any failings the older versions had, and improve upon it many. It plays easily, is loads of fun, and although short, has no short comings. |
