Hey, just make one! It's an engine, not so hard to use. If you need a feature, that isn't in the engine yet let me know.

I downloaded the demo and tried it. Seems promising.

The terrain engine is cool, and your line-of-sight works well.

The interface is really confusing and hard to use though. A lot of things are keyboard-only even though they're right there on screen to click, and it took me a while to figure out how to use an item (open inventory, right-click)... especially since the inventory key doesn't seem to be in any of the obvious spots in the in-game help (I guess it might be in the readme, didn't check).

Also, ran into a couple bugs - i had an item in my inventory and at some point it got displaced and moved 'outside' of the inventory. Then, when I closed the inventory window the item's image was still there and it never went away.

Also, when I died, it asked me to pick a new character, and when I clicked the character the game crashed.

Heh, I will, as soon as I can finish my own engine.

The forum forgot my answer during the downtime, thus I'll try again.

The inventory key "i" doesn't seem so unusual? H-World intially was planned as a keyboard-only game, so the entry is in the keyborad help. Yet, currently the interface is a mixture of keyboard and mouse control.

Which parts of the interface are the most difficult? What kind of problems did you encounter?

Can you give step by step description how to reproduce the bugs? I'll try to reprodce them on ym system and if possible, fix them. Of course :)

Edit: the inventory problem that you've described was a known problem in earlier versions. It should be fixed in 0.3.10.2
Which version did you test?

There are some new entries in the "problem reports" section of the H-World feedback forum:

http://www.simugraph.com/forum/viewforum.php?id=8

If you discover a problem, please let me know.
