ika's source code contains a nice library for manipulating an xmlish format called aries. really easy to manually edit in notepad, and pretty efficient too. (ika uses it for most of its formats) I'd give you a link, but you'll have to grab it out of cvs.

It isn't. It would just be more convenient when distributed as a plain text file in my opinion. It's not like the code is interesting to read.

guess you never did this, and i'm reading old thread land.

this thread is actually quite good, brings up a good problem to have. how scalable are the data structures and code that uses them in the routines and data that you use in your codebase?
